The right coverage depends on the hours your property is open, how much of it is outdoors, and what has gone wrong before. Start with the service that matches your situation.
Security officers at the door, armed or unarmed
Unarmed officers handle reception, access control, visitor check-in and building rounds in medical offices, offices, apartments and stores. Armed officers are for cash handling, high-value goods, a credible threat or a history of incidents involving weapons. We will recommend the one your Jackson or Gulf Coast site actually needs.
SecureOne officers come from military, law enforcement or security backgrounds, complete required and site-specific training, shadow a field supervisor until ready, and are First Aid and CPR certified.
Mobile patrol
A patrol officer checks doors, gates, fences and lots on a set schedule or at random times, handles lock-ups and unlocks, and responds to alarms. Patrol vehicles have GPS Insight live tracking and in-car 360-degree cameras, and a patrol report is emailed to you every day.
Solar camera trailers for open ground
Yards, lots and job sites often have no power and no one on site at night. A solar-powered camera trailer adds 24/7 remote monitoring with live viewing, motion-activated alerts, pan-tilt-zoom cameras, talk-down audio and a backup power system. SecureOne's solar surveillance units page has more on how the trailers are set up.
Off-duty police
If a property needs a police officer on site for a period of time, SecureOne can provide off-duty and recently retired police officers in good standing. Every one is background checked, trained in SecureOne's force policies and holds CPR, AED and First Aid certification.
Events and short-term needs
We staff armed and unarmed officers for one-day events, short projects and urgent needs. In 2019 alone, SecureOne provided more than 80,000 manhours of short-term and event security.

How your account is managed
Whether your property is in Jackson or on the coast, the account runs the same way. Officers log reports, photos and patrol checks in Vision InSites, SecureOne's real-time security reporting platform. A single point of contact is reachable 24/7, the 24-hour dispatch center supports every post, field supervisor inspections are included at no extra cost, and WinTeam handles scheduling and billing. Officers wear a tan shirt, black hat, black pants and black shoes.
Mississippi security questions
Who staffs a Mississippi account?
Officers come from vetted local security partners. SecureOne manages every Mississippi account: we set the post orders and standards, review reporting in Vision InSites, and stay your single point of contact at (888) 834-5285.
Do you cover both Jackson and the Gulf Coast?
We take on properties in both regions and in other Mississippi communities. Call (888) 834-5285 with the address to confirm coverage and hours.
Is a camera trailer enough for an open yard?
For many yards it covers the overnight hours well, especially paired with patrol stops. We will tell you if a posted officer is the better choice.
Will your officers chase a shoplifter?
No. They de-escalate and call the police.
